Limited space available. Register early. Registration closes Wednesday before the event. Morning check-in at 8:00-8:30 am Players meeting at 8:45am First serve at 9:00am
AVA MASTERS FORMAT:
Double elimination with cross-over. Seeding will be based on a random draw. A ‘silver bracket’ will be available for team’s that are eliminated after 2 matches. Men’s and Women’s 2s age rules and divisions: • Men must be 45 or 55 years of age before January 1 ahead of the event. • Women must be 40 or 50 years of age before January 1 ahead of the event. • Small court. • Official ball is the Wilson avp game ball. • Block counts as a touch (3 touches per side). • Timeouts: 2, one minute time outs per team, per game.
Referees will be assigned from the pool of players. It is expected that players will play with honor and good sportsmanship, which includes calling their own faults. Max 5 minute on-court warmup before each match.
